Through education, career development, and outreach, the non-profit AIM Institute has fostered the growth of Omaha’s tech sector for more than 25 years.

AIM promotes diversity and inclusion in the tech sector by making outstanding educational opportunities and career training accessible to all, from elementary school through adulthood.

This organization is an essential contributor to economic development in the Omaha area and beyond, developing, growing, and retaining local tech talent that is critical to the success of area companies and entrepreneurs.

AIM addresses the unique needs of each tech professional, new or experienced, by connecting them with the mentors, career navigators, and resources they need to expand their skills and tech network and build a fulfilling career.

Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium

Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium's mission is to inspire, educate and engage people to serve as lifelong stewards for animals, their habitats and their conservation.

Through education, research, and outreach, the non-profit Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium inspired, educated and engaged people to serve as lifelong stewards for animals, their habitats and their conservation for more than 125 years.

Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium has built a vigorous program of scientific investigation in the fields of molecular genetics, reproductive physiology, nutrition, plant micro propagation and conservation medicine. The work done there is intended to have a global impact through numerous projects and collaborations in conservation programs. All of their programs place great emphasis on student and professional training, technology transfer and research in the conservation of endangered species.
